Advocate Jessica Azzopardi is a Maltese national and resident; holding a law degree, L.L.B (Hons.) and Master in Advocacy (M.Adv.) from the University of Malta and has successfully completed additional studies and training in Corporate, IT & Data Protection Laws. Becoming a warranted member of the Malta Chamber of Advocates in 2022, and fluent in Maltese, English, and Italian, following studies in Italy in EU Business Law and Company Law at the Università Roma Tre; Jessica recently joined DAL’s legal team as an associate in the Corporate & Dispute-Resolution departments, focused on multi-jurisdictional contract issues and debt-recovery.

       Drawing on significant experience in business administration and GDPR, Jessica brings a practical & tech-oriented approach to Client support, Corporate & contract matters, due to exposure to corporate litigation in a diverse range of sectors. In parallel Jessica assists clients in terms of IT legal compliance, and advisory on gaming compliance laws especially in the field of affiliate marketing, further enhanced by her acting as a Data Protection Officer for select client- companies.

          As a dynamic member of the Corporate & Legal team; Jessica is well suited to the demands of today’s fast paced, tech-driven international client, seeking assurance beyond the narrow confines of law, securing practical reasonable risk-management & enforceable solutions to multi-jurisdictional challenges. 

            Having collaborated so positively with our GGI colleagues, Jessica is also responsible for the firm’s participation in GGI’s informal traineeship exchange program whereby young professionals from member firms can spend a few weeks at a fellow firm, enhancing professional, cultural, language and specific jurisdiction exposure and skills.
