Finance Professional, David Bonett, is a Maltese national and resident, Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), fluent in Maltese, English and Italian. David’s professional track record blends over fifteen years of big-four accountancy firm experience (in Malta and London) with thirteen years in senior executive positions as CFO and Group Finance Director with fast-growing, Global organisations.  He has extensive experience in financial reporting for capital market transactions, corporate governance, M&A, financial planning, managing cross-border finance teams and setting up global finance functions.  David currently acts as an advisor on corporate finance and financial management and as a non-executive director on the boards of regulated entities in the financial services sector.

          David leverages his experience of having led and shaped the finance teams of two dynamic global organisations, to advise international clients on setting up the substance of their cross-border finance function.  Having worked on a significant number of cross-border deals (M&A and fund raising) both as a professional and also as a client lead, David slots into an international deal team, providing valuable contribution in areas such as deal management, local finance expertise, financial due diligence, and financial modelling.
