Our innovative tech-based approach to corporate governance and development is further bolstered by the presence of a local thriving community of cosmopolitan tech ex-pats who now call Malta home, securing both talent and Malta based unique new business opportunities.
DAL has earned its reputation for delivering success, primarily because of our intensive and comprehensive methodologies, but also because we strive to achieve for each client; a winning balance of operability and compliance. Since our founding, we have protected our brand and our client base with equal vigour, via careful filtering of referrals, project-viability, legal and tax integrity.
Who We Are
We are global citizens, whose home is the Mediterranean island of Malta, having over 7,000 years of history including the oldest freestanding structures in the world and 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites including its entire capital city, Valletta. Although much of our work is conducted internationally, in conjunction with client and client advisors, today, all of our teams are centrally located at the Blackley’s Business Centre situated in Pietà (a few minutes from Valletta – BlackleysMalta.com.)
DAL Advisory is a Malta-based multi-disciplinary practice; founded in 1999 by Dr. Robert D’Alessandro after his return from post-graduate studies in international law, and training as a corporate lawyer with two leading firms in Budapest, London and Amsterdam.
Building upon 20 years of practice in company law, international contracts, risk-management, quality reassurance, corporate and fiscal governance, and business development, the firm has developed core expertise in the management of multi-jurisdictional Business transformation, Corporate Accounting, Tax & IP law, Asset and Investment protection, Malta residency and cross-jurisdictional estate planning.
Over the years; the DAL team has assisted several start-ups to grow to the point of investment from or buy-out by Energy, Media and Pharma multinationals, as well as assist transition start-ups onto the London and Australian stock exchanges. Given Malta’s well-regulated, UK modelled corporate framework and infrastructure for the housing and integrating of international business, Malta is emerging as an EU -Brexit bridge, in parallel to its established brokerage link between the EU and Middle-East especially in terms of established shipping and aviation links.
The firm continues to provide support in the fields of Aviation, Business Development, Company Formation & Governance, E-learning, EU funding, Film & Digital media, Private Equity, International Real-estate Protection, Investment oversight, Green-Energy, Pharma, Residence & Relocation, and Technology via the advantage of a tried & tested network of experts.
Our clients are not customers, but respected and valued partners, who entrust us with their unique advantages, reputation, challenges and opportunities.
Our offices, advisory and support teams, are housed at Blackley’s; an iconic 1906-built Admiralty Bakery which is a listed heritage site, carefully converted into boutique offices, (blackleys.com.mt) specially designed for professionals, start-ups, client co-working office space, events and networking capacities, all of which enable us and our clients to continue to generate unique and valuable synergies.
